Discover The Hague by Hire Car
The Hague is located on the North Sea coast near the mouth of the Rhine in the west of the Netherlands.
From the center of the city it is only about 6 kilometers to the sea. A trip to the North Sea resort of Scheveningen with its famous casino is also recommended.
The city, with a population of just under half a million, does not have its own airport, but from Amsterdam Schipol Airport, it is only a good half-hour drive by hire car. The Hague is the seat of government and the administrative centre of the Netherlands.
Sights in The Hague

The royal family is based in the Paleis Noordeinde.

And art lovers also get their money’s worth in The Hague. For example, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer can be admired in the Mauritshuis. Other cornerstones of a city tour should be the Grote Kerk, in late Gothic style from the 15th century, and the Old Town Hall.
Another tourist attraction includes the miniature city of Madurodam in the seaside resort of Scheveningen.
The theme park features the most important buildings of the Netherlands on a scale of 1:25 on an area of almost 18,000 m².
