After wandering through the botanical gardens, a magical world of tropical plants and woods, orchid gardens and jungle life, the Indo-Pacific Marine Aquarium is a must-see, as it not only features rare sea creatures, but also talks about dangerous animals, such as jellyfish and saltwater crocodiles, that swimmers may encounter on the beautiful beaches.

Particularly impressive are the national parks of Kakadu, which is a World Heritage Site, and Litchfield, where beautiful tropical waterscapes alternate with vast arid areas with huge termite mounds and mountain landscapes.
