On a beautiful bay of Lake Mälaren lies the town of Västeras, in the middle of the province of Västmanland in eastern Sweden.

100 kilometres to the east is Stockholm. The city centre in Västeras is a car-free zone. However, there is plenty of car parking on the outskirts.
