Braga is a university city in the north of Portugal.

Unlike the rest of the country, the inhabitants of the Braga area prefer a hearty cuisine, with the various stews being particularly noteworthy.

Accompanied by a vinho verde, a very light fruity wine that is offered as a house wine in many places, finally rounds off a visit.
