With modern buildings paired with ancient and medieval buildings, Euskirchen has a cityscape that couldn’t be more exciting. A lot of old buildings had to give way to the new look of the city, however, this does not detract from the beauty of Euskirchen.

St. Martin’s Church was built in the 7th century and was a masterpiece of architecture at the time. Even today, the oldest church in the municipality can convince its visitors with the high architectural standard and the impressive interior design.

There is such a variety of sacred buildings across the city that not all of them can be mentioned by name.
