Sights in Koblenz

High above the city towers Stolzenfels Castle and the Old Castle, located on the Moselle River, now serves as the city archives. No less worth seeing is the building of the former Prussian district government.

The Electoral Palace characterises the Koblenz townscape, as does the oldest preserved stone Balduin Bridge, which connects the old town with the Lützel district. For all those hungry for knowledge, there are several interesting museums that reveal a lot about past times.

These include the Old Department Store and the Deutschherrenhaus, as well as the city library housed in the Dreikönigin Haus.
