Citer Hire Car

Citer is a French hire car company, founded in 1968 with a particularly strong presence at train stations and airports throughout France. Those who rent a vehicle from Citer can be assured of a high quality of service. A wide range of vehicles is available at very competitive prices.

In the first years after its creation, Citer was mainly concerned with renting Citroën brand business hire cars to companies. However, after signing a franchise agreement in 1998, the company increasingly began to tackle the leisure market. On February 1, 2012, Enterprise Holdings, one of the world’s leading hire car companies, acquired Citer as a wholly owned subsidiary. The original name Citer was retained.

Citer has nearly 250 branches in France. A fleet of around 15,000 vehicles operates under this brand. Customers are offered a wide range of cars. These are currently 14 different brands (which of course include the local ones like Peugeot and Citroën).

From small cars to mid-size cars to minivans and so-called high-end vehicles. All the cars are new, and the average age of the fleet is three to five months. They are systematically checked in several points before each rental.
