Caro Hire Car

In the summer of 1998, Stefan Peters founded Caro Autovermietung in Bremen. Today, the company is one of the seven largest hire car companies in Germany.

Currently, Caro Autovermietung’s network includes around 50 full-service stations throughout Germany.

In addition, there are further stations that enable Caro to handle both delivery and collection of vehicles at any time of the day or night within a few hours. This makes Caro hire car one of the fastest hire car companies in Germany.

In addition to the tourism sector, Caro Autovermietung is successfully active in other sectors of the hire car market. Among other things, the company rents vehicles to major customers, provides replacement cars for private and corporate customers as needed, and also rents vans and trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating of 7.5 tons to private customers. All cars in the fleet are no more than seven months old. All trucks and almost all cars are from German manufacturers. Thus, the Caro hire car is characterized by the highest quality.

Caro Autovermietung is one of the few hire car companies in Germany that is still exclusively privately owned. The company currently employs over 500 people and has a turnover of around 120 million euros a year.

Reservations at Caro Autovermietung, which can be made via the Internet or via a service hotline, are processed by a central service center founded in 2003. This is also responsible for the disposition of all vehicles of the hire car company. For corporate customers, the company offers special services such as a personal account manager or a 24-hour service.
