One of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands is the city of Utrecht, capital of the province of the same name.

In addition to the Netherlands’ only cathedral, the city’s most important places of worship are Buur, Geerte, Jacobi, Jans, Nikolai and St. Peter’s churches.
The house “Oudaen” was already built around 1300. In comparison, the “Rietveld-Schröder-Haus” from 1923 is a very new building. It belongs to the world cultural heritage of the UNESCO.
The University of Utrecht is the largest in the Netherlands. Its historic buildings adorn the city centre. It also has an architecturally very interesting campus in the east of Utrecht. Last but not least, the entire old town is home to an infinite number of pretty houses, squares and alleys.
