Holiday Autos – Hire Car All Inclusive

Holiday Autos was founded in London in 1987 as a holiday hire car agent for holidaymakers. A year later, the German branch of Holiday Autos in Munich was added and this was awarded the World Travel Award in the category “best holiday hire car” for the first time in 1997.

The following year, Holiday Autos took off in Austria, signing numerous partnerships with major travel agency chains and associations. In 2000, the company became the first holiday hire car broker to introduce the elimination of deductibles in the event of a claim.

Since 2003, the hire car broker has been part of the lastminute.com group of companies, which was acquired two years later by Sabre Holdings Corporation, Travelocity’s parent company.

Holiday Autos employs a team of around 100 people, yet the broker does not own its own fleet of rental vehicles but works with numerous hire car companies worldwide. This allows the broker to offer over 5,000 rental locations in more than 100 destinations worldwide.

In mainland Europe, the company is happy to refer its bookings to hire car companies Hertz, Europcar, Budget or National.

In Spain, hire car bookings are also referred to local providers such as Hiper Hire Car, Record, Orlando or Auriga Crown.

Hire car bookings in the US and Canada are almost exclusively referred by Holiday Autos to the hire car company Alamo Hire Car.

Holiday Autos specializes in arranging inexpensive vacation hire cars. Especially in Spain, the hire cars from Holiday Autos are often very cheap. Car rentals in Mallorca, Ibiza and Menorca, but of course also in Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria are often booked through this company.

However, the provider also offers hire cars in rather atypical holiday destinations such as Ukraine, Lithuania or Latvia.
