In addition to numerous churches and monasteries in the region around Loutraki, such as the “Agios Ioannis o Baptistis”, dedicated to John the Baptist, and the hermitage of Agia Marina, which houses some valuable treasures of sacred art, the fine sandy beach in the extensive bay of Loutrakis is of particular tourist interest.
Furthermore, Athens, with a distance of only 80 kilometres, is just inviting for a trip.
On Geraneia Mountain, about ten kilometres from the town centre, lies the monastery of Osios Patapios, from which there is a sensational view of the isthmus and the Gulf of Korinthiakos.
